New Marshall Excelsior Company branding highlights integration into OPW Propane Energy Solutions

December 20, 2024

In July, Marshall Excelsior Company (MEC), Marshall, MI, was acquired by OPW, a Dover Corporation company, and became a founding member of the new OPW Propane Energy Solutions (PES) business unit. To recognize this landmark occasion in the company’s 48-year history, MEC has introduced a redesigned company logo that communicates its official standing as a member of the OPW team.

MEC brings to the OPW PES business unit a long and illustrious history as a developer and manufacturer of top-quality, equipment and solutions for handling, transporting and storing LPG and NH3. The ultimate goal of MEC is to provide the safest equipment solutions for everyday operations while ensuring optimized performance and a strong return on investment for the customer.

The acquisition of MEC by OPW also included the following MEC business units: BASE Engineering, Inc., a provider of wireless control technologies for fuel-delivery fleets; CPC-Cryolab, a manufacturer of cryogenic valves and components for liquid hydrogen (LH2) and helium applications; and Xanik, a producer of specialty valves for industrial applications. All of these companies are currently being integrated into the OPW team.
