New Safe 250°C Solid-State Battery for MWD
A high temperature, rechargeable and safe battery has been developed supporting HTHP MWD/LWD tools. These batteries can operate from room temperature to 250°C (480F). These batteries are safe because the chemical process is contained in a solid-state form, no liquid component. Battery specifications and testing will be presented covering three sizes up to 16V & 14.5AH.
