ExproSoft names Americas sales director

HOUSTON -- Christopher McPherson has been named director of sales, Americas for ExproSoft AS, a provider of well integrity management software.  The announcement was made by Steve Greenland, V.P. sales and marketing.

McPherson will be based in ExproSoft's Houston office and will be responsible for sales activities in North, South and Central America.

Prior to joining ExproSoft, McPherson was sales manager, North America for Roxar Flow Measurement, a division of Emerson Process Management.  He studied electrical engineering at the University of Alabama and has fifteen years’ experience in energy and heavy industrial applications. 

ExproSoft was founded in 2000 as a spin-off from Norwegian search organization SINTEF, and has maintained the proprietary WellMaster database of well failure and integrity data for twenty five years.  The WellMaster database comprises 37,500 well years of data from more than 5,500 wells.
