Logan International forms rental division

CALGARY -- Logan International Inc. has consolidated its tool rental operations, which were previously conducted in several of its operating units, into a single business: Logan Rentals.

Initially, the group will offer fishing and coiled tubing jars for workover activities and drilling jars and its Xciter tool for drilling operations and will focus mostly on the North American market. Current locations include Houston and Alice, Texas; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Broussard, Louisiana; and Nisku, Alberta.

Glenn Gelder, was appointed Vice President of Logan Rentals.  Mr. Gelder joined Logan in 2011 and has served as director of sales and operations for the western hemisphere. Gelder was previously employed by Baker-Hughes where he held positions in engineering, supply chain, and business development. Gelder holds a degree in Economics from the University of Houston.

“The forming of our Rentals Division is in line with our quantified plan to reorganize the Logan operating units into three business divisions,” said CEO David MacNeill.
