HOUSTON – Cameron announced Monday that R. Scott Rowe has assumed the role of president and CEO in accordance with the company’s succession plan.

Rowe has served with Cameron for 13 years, most recently as president and COO. He previously served as CEO of OneSubsea, the company's joint venture with Schlumberger. He had also previously served as the president of the company's Subsea Systems division and president of the Engineered and Process Valves business in the company's Valves and Measurement segment.

He is also a member of Cameron's board of directors. Rowe is an engineering management graduate from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Rowe replaces Jack B. Moore, who is retiring as the company's CEO. Moore joined the company in 1999 after a 23-year career at Baker Hughes. At Cameron, he held a series of progressively responsible positions in operations before becoming CEO in 2008. He continues to serve as the chairman of Cameron’s board.
