Ikon Science announces geopressure RokDoc plug-ins for Petrel

HOUSTON -- Ikon Science has added two new RokDoc plug-ins for Petrel to its portfolio of existing tools on the Ocean platform. This latest addition contributes the first plug-ins covering geopressure data calculation, analysis and viewing to the E&P subsurface community.

The RokDoc PressureView plug-in for Petrel offers a comprehensive pressure visualization and interpretation environment. Users can fit gradients to understand fluid and pressure regimes. It is easy to flip between pressure, over-pressure and equivalent mud weight plots.

The RokDoc Pore Pressure Calculator (PPC) plug-in for Petrel supports the creation, display and analysis of lithostatic pressure profiles and normal compaction trends, which can be used to predict pore pressures using a set of industry standard models.
