Pemex evacuates 85 offshore workers after gas leak
MEXICO CITY – Pemex has evacuated 85 workers from a platform in the Bay of Campeche, offshore Mexico, following a gas leak.
The state-owned company says the Sihil–A satellite platform was evacuated as a precaution and that the leak did not result in any injuries or fire.
The leak is now under control, the firm said on Twitter late Tuesday.
