May 01, 2015

LONDON -- Cape plc has extended its current relationship with BP with the award of a new two-year contract with an estimated value of $153 million (£100 million).

This contract will secure around 500 jobs for Cape employees as the company provides a range of its core services, including access, insulation, coating, passive fire protection and platform services on six North Sea assets and the Forties Pipeline Systems.

“We are delighted to be awarded this further contract by BP, which will allow us to continue to invest in our people through our apprentice, intern and graduate programs,” Joe Oatley, Cape’s chief executive, said.
