June 02, 2015

HOUSTON -- Noble energy has announced that the company will donate $100,000 to the American Red Cross Greater Houston Area Chapter in support of disaster-relief and recovery efforts for the communities affected by floods.

In addition to the contribution, Noble Energy will match employee donations two-to-one through its NobleACTS matching gifts program. Also through NobleACTS, employee volunteer hours will result in additional contributions by Noble Energy to the American Red Cross Greater Houston Area Chapter.

David Stover, chairman and CEO of Noble Energy, said, “We call Texas home and many of our communities and employees have been seriously impacted by the recent storms and flooding across the state. Our donation to the Red Cross will help our neighbors and employees recover from the damage and devastation. This contribution will be further amplified by our company match and our employees’ volunteer efforts.”
