Logan Industries to supply CCTLF system for Maersk drillship
HEMPSTEAD, Texas -- Logan Industries, based in Hempstead, Texas, has been awarded an order for a compensated coiled tubing lift frame (CCTLF) for Maersk Drilling.
The CCTLF system will be designed and built in-house and is expected to be delivered to Maersk in the second-quarter of 2016.
Logan Industries will supply a complete CCTLF system to Maersk Drilling, which includes an APV, a dedicated hydraulic power system, emergency shut down equipment and a control package.
The system will be certified under DNV E101 and D.R.O.P.S., and it has been designed in accordance with API 8C and ANSI B31.3. The order also includes a CCTLF services contract, meaning Logan Industries will take care of service and preservation of Maersk Drilling’s CCTLF for the duration of the work.
The CCTLF will be installed on board the Maersk Voyager where it will be used for coiled tubing operations on the Offshore Cape Three Point Project offshore Ghana.
Maersk Voyager is one of Maersk Drilling’s latest ultra-deepwater drillships.
