Aqualis Offshore to open South Korea office

July 02, 2015

BUSAN, South Korea -- Offshore marine and engineering consultancy Aqualis Offshore is to open an office in Busan, South Korea, following increased demand for the company’s services.

“Over the past few months, we have received an increasing number of work requests from oil services companies, rig operators and the numerous offshore construction yards in South Korea. It is therefore a logical expansion of our network to set up an office here now, so that we are able to provide the best possible local support to our clients,” said Phil Lenox, director - Asia Pacific, Aqualis Offshore.

The Busan office will offer Aqualis Offshore’s full range of services with support from other group offices. However, its initial focus will be on dynamic positioning consultancy, transportation and installation, marine warranty and construction supervision.

Gang-Yeoung Jeong has been appointed as general manager of the new office.
