Global Maritime Group awarded mooring contract for Woodside
PERTH, Australia -- Global Maritime Deep Sea Mooring has been awarded a contract for the provision of mooring and rig positioning services to the Australian oil and gas company Woodside.
Global Maritime Deep Sea Mooring will perform mooring and rig positioning services for the Ocean Monarch.
Global Maritime Group is a worldwide enterprise with its head office in Stavanger, Norway. The Group has six business areas with Global Maritime Deep Sea Mooring being the one involved in this contract.
Under the contract with Woodside, Global Maritime Deep Sea Mooring will perform mooring and rig positioning services for the Ocean Monarch semisubmersible, which is drilling at Julimar field on the Northwest Shelf, Australia.
Mobilization and offshore operations commenced in May 2015.
