NCS Multistage's Ravensbergen receives 2015 SPE Regional Award for Canada
HOUSTON -- NCS Multistage has announced that John Ravensbergen, the company's V.P. of research and development, has received the 2015 SPE Regional Technology Award for Canada. The award will be presented at the 2015 SPE/CSUR conference in October.
The Regional Technology Award acknowledges exceptional individuals who have contributed to the Society of Petroleum Engineers at the sectional or regional level and recognizes singular devotion of time and effort to development of technical expertise.
Ravensbergen received the award for his contributions to the development of the NCS MultiCycle frac sleeve, the industry's first commercially successful reclosable frac sleeve.

Ravensbergen has 24 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, holds 18 patents, has authored or co-authored numerous SPE papers, and is the recipient of many awards and honors for his technology leadership in the industry.
