Oil & Gas UK CEO opens new Cameron facility in Aberdeen
ABERDEEN, United Kingdom -- Oil & Gas UK Chief Executive Deirdre Michie formally opened the new Aberdeen base for Cameron Flow Control Technology (UK) Ltd on Thursday.
Accompanied by Cameron’s regional V.P., global V.P. for services, regional manager and business development director, Deirdre toured the facility, which is four times the size of the last facility, increasing Cameron’s capacity for repairs and rental services, customer storage and inventory management services.
“This industry is going through really challenging times with businesses having to make some tough decisions,” Michie said. “However, companies like Cameron are also recognizing that they need to invest to stay ahead—they know that this industry will come through this—and that it must be one that is competitive and fit for purpose if it is to be sustainable.”
