Packers Plus opens service, sales centers in Argentina
CALGARY, Alberta -- Packers Plus Energy Services has positioned itself to continue expansion into the Latin America region with its newest service and sales centers in Neuquén and Buenos Aires, Argentina, respectively.
Since 2007, Packers Plus has completed 190 stages in Argentina and has most recently set an open hole multi-stage stimulation record for the highest number of stages and the fastest stimulation time.
The new locations will position Packers Plus to quickly deliver high quality, reliable technologies and expertise to customers in the region.
The service center in Neuquén will be approximately 30,000 sq ft in size and will have the capability of housing systems and components which are manufactured at Packers Plus manufacturing facilities in Houston, Texas and Edmonton, Alberta. The service center will perform final manual assembly, torque and testing on all systems leaving the facility. This is the first service center in Latin America for Packers Plus and the second sales office after Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The expansion will be celebrated at an evening reception attended by Packers Plus executives and hosted by the Canadian Embassy in Argentina on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
"The new facilities will enable us to continue achieving a number of technological firsts in Latin America," Ian Bryant, Packers Plus COO, said. "We look forward to celebrating our new locations with the Canadian Embassy and discussing how our innovative technologies and operational excellence will help Argentina efficiently and effectively develop both conventional and unconventional resources."
