IKM secures contract with Subsea 7 for Culzean field
ABERDEEN, Scotland -- IKM has secured a contract award courtesy of Subsea 7. Subsea 7 has won the award of a subsea, umbilical, riser and flowline (SURF) contract by Maersk Oil.
The company will make and install underwater equipment for Culzean gas field in the central North Sea. Culzean lies in Block 22/25 of the Central North Sea at a water depth of approximately 90 m.
Engineering works have already commenced for the Maersk Oil-operated Culzean project, with the first phase of offshore operations due to commence in second-quarter 2017.
