SOCO reports approval of Te Giac Trang field development plan in Vietnam
LONDON -- SOCO, an international oil and gas E&P company, announces that the Hoang Long Joint Operating Company has received from the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam the formal approval of the updated Full Field Development Plan (FFDP) for the Te Giac Trang (TGT) field, offshore southern Vietnam.
The FFDP was formally submitted to the relevant authorities in fourth-quarter 2016. With this, up to 18 additional wells have been approved, with locations and additional support to be provided at a later date, and the addition of new processing equipment to be installed on the H1-WHP. The processing equipment will be designed to handle 90,000 bbl of liquid per day, with specific water handling capacity of up to 65,000 bbl of water per day.
