EM&I recieves first ODIN services agreement from Seadrill
RIO DE JANEIRO -- EM&I has received a master services agreement from Seadrill, which will form the basis of its long-term relationship with Seadrill, one of the largest drilling contractors in the world.
Seadrill was instrumental and supportive of the company's entry into the drillship market by inviting it, with ABS, to visit their West Tellus drillship in Las Palmas, so that the company could try out NoMan and other equipment and become familiarized with these types of drilling assets.
This agreement was used to place EM&I's first order with Seadrill to provide an ODIN UWILD package for the ABS classed ultra-deepwater drillship West Jupiter, currently operating offshore Nigeria for Total.
Danny Constantinis, CEO, said: “This is our first contract with Seadrill and I am delighted that we have the opportunity to demonstrate EM&I’s cost effective, safe and operationally beneficial methods, and that this will lead to further contracts with Seadrill in the future.
