ONS announces finalists for its 2022 Innovation Awards
ONS announced the finalists for its 2022 Innovation Awards on Tuesday, saying the competition was fiercer than ever. The ONS Innovation Award Jury received a total of 100 applicants from 13 different countries for this year’s ONS Innovation Awards.
“The jury has now been through a tough, but exciting job selecting the finalists for the ONS 2022 Innovation Awards,” ONS said.
Five candidates were nominated for each category, according to ONS. The finalists are:
- TechnipFMS’s Deep Purple
- Wärtsilä’s Demo2000
- MRC Global’s ValveWatch
- Aker Solutions’s ZEUS
- Siemens Energy’s Bluewind
In the SME category, the finalists are:
- Ruden AS’s HEAT
- ZEG Power’s ZEG ICC Technology
- SolarDuck’s Offshore Floating Solar Platform
- Airbridge’s Annulus Core Reactor – Carbon Capture and Utilisation Technology
- ReStone’s AS RePlug®

The winners of the two categories of innovation awards will be announced in the session “The North Sea – the new frontier of energy transition?” at the ONS Conference on Tuesday Aug. 30 at 10 a.m. CET.
