Energy NL: Offshore industry veteran, former CEO Ted Howell passes away
(WO) – The following statement was issued today by Gerry Mayo, Chair of the Energy NL Board of Directors, and Charlene Johnson, CEO of Energy NL, on the passing of former Energy NL CEO Ted Howell.
“Sadly today, we learned of the passing of former Energy NL President and CEO Ted Howell. On behalf of all Energy NL members, we wish to extend our thoughts and condolences to Ted’s many family and friends. Throughout our industry and province, Ted was respected for his solutions-based approach, his calm demeanor, and for being a caring and genuine person. During his tenure, Ted as always put the best interest of our membership first and worked diligently on their behalf to ensure their engagement in the offshore supply and service sector. We have lost a leader and a friend, and Ted’s presence will be greatly missed.”
Ted Howell served as President and CEO of then Noia (now Energy NL) from 2006 to 2007. Ted remained connected to the offshore oil and gas industry throughout his career, which included working within the energy and financial sectors.
Energy NL represents approximately 500 member organizations worldwide which are involved in the energy sector.
