CNOOC begins production on Long Lake NW project in Alberta
CNOOC Limited announces that Long Lake Northwest Project in Canada has commenced production safely.
The project is located in Alberta, Canada. The main production facilities include a new well pad and 4 pipelines. It will be developed with steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) operation and 8 well pairs are planned to be commissioned. The project is expected to achieve a peak production of approximately 8,200 bopd in 2025.
CNOOC Petroleum North America ULC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CNOOC Limited, holds 100% interest in this project and is the operator.
