Reducing Flaring and Emissions in Production Facilities

July 14, 2021
Sponsored by: TechnipFMC
iProduction™ is a modern approach to multi-well processing focused on the reduction of GHG emissions. This includes well pad processing, gathering lines, and central processing facilities under a single digital interface with autonomous control. In this webcast, Laura Schilling and Isabel Chan will be detailing how TechnipFMC’s iProduction™ ecosystem can effectively address the facility GHG challenges of the future and reduce LP flaring by 60%. iProduction™ also has a smaller footprint, lower total cost and uses modules prefabricated offsite for faster field startup and lower operating expense. Our customers that have adopted this ecosystem have seen operations becoming more streamlined, reduce GHG emissions, reduce capital, and decrease time to first oil. Our propriety AOS is the dynamically optimizing heart of iProduction™.

Integrated Process Simulation for Accurate Corrosion Prediction for Carbon Steel in Multiphase Oil & Gas Production or Transmission Systems

July 07, 2021
Sponsored by: Honeywell
Dynamic and steady-state simulation are fundamental for accurate design and efficient and safe operations of industrial processes. Process simulation needs to consider multiple factors that affect the performance of the equipment and facilities, such as equipment configuration and process conditions; one of these factors is the corrosion rate, which often defines operating envelopes and limits throughput. CO2 and H2S corrosion (termed acid gas corrosion) in oil and gas production environments are key contributors to asset degradation and failure. Sand erosion and Top of the Line Corrosion are two other damage mechanisms that adversely impact asset life. Accurate quantification of corrosion and erosion is critical in enabling improved assurance in safe utilization of steels in almost every production unit in oil and gas production and transmission. In this webinar we will discuss an integrated, comprehensive approach for oil & gas production process simulation which intelligently assess system corrosivity and facilitates prediction of corrosion and erosion rates for carbon steels in production / transmission environments containing CO2 and/or H2S.
